Legora is on a mission: to redefine how legal work gets done. From the very start we have been very clear about the fact that we are not building a solution for lawyers, we are building it with them, because it is the only way to make sure it gets done the right way; working side-by-side every step of the way.
Our AI-native workspace empowers legal professionals not just to work faster - but to ask better questions, unlock new insights. Every day, we push the boundaries of legal tech to make complex processes smarter, faster, and more human. From thousands of documents analysed in minutes to intelligent workflows designed in collaboration with leading practices, we’re turning possibility into reality.
Today we are trusted by global firms like Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Bird & Bird and Linklaters in over 40 countries, but we have no plans on stopping here. We ship fast, we iterate effectively, and we scale rapidly - not by accident, but by design.
When you join Legora, you become part of a team that believes "good enough" isn’t good enough and that the way to win is together, by empowering lawyers to do their best work with technology that truly understands them. If you’re excited by building from first principles, working with exceptional people, and accelerating change in a high-stakes, high-impact domain—then this is the moment and the place.
We’re seeking an Editorial Manager to build the Legora narrative and create the content - not just written - that will build Legora’s social presence into a category-defining growth engine.
Your role will see you develop Legora’s editorial voice, closely tied to our identity and business goals, to craft an editorial strategy that builds the Legora brand and delivers against our objectives.
You’ll be responsible for determining what we talk about, what we say, who says it, when and how - and what we don’t. You’ll own our organic strategy, content creation pipelines and systems, and determine our editorial cadence and define what gets published across which channels. You will be responsible for determining how best to engage our key audiences on the topics that matter to them - and us - and for developing Legora’s position as an industry leader when it comes to wider questions around the future of the legal profession and its use of AI.
Your mandate is simple:
Make Legora the most trusted, distinctive, and followed voice in AI for legal work.
Reporting to the VP Communications, you’ll partner across Marketing, Product, GTM, Legal, and Leadership to translate what we’re building — and why it matters — into content that’s precise, credible, and impossible to ignore.
Develop a brand editorial bible, determining:
Themes Legora will discuss
Specific lines per theme, linked to business objectives
Legora stakeholders/spokespeople
Content formats
etc
Develop a clear brand voice and content principles that scale across contributors.
Determine Legora’s social media approach - platforms and content - for 2026 and beyond
Define and execute Legora’s organic social strategy across agreed channels
Work closely with colleagues across Legora to ensure social strategy maps closely to wider business goals
Build and run a social media editorial calendar that balances product, customer, culture, and category POV.
Create high-quality, platform-native content: threads/posts, carousels, short video scripts, founder/executive posts, and launch narratives.
Turn complex ideas (legal workflows, AI capabilities, customer value) into crisp, compelling stories.
Package announcements, launches, and moments into campaigns that drive reach and engagement.
Manage third party suppliers (freelancers, agencies, etc) in production of specific content formats (video/audio/animation/etc)
Support leaders and subject-matter experts to show up consistently and credibly on social.
Build lightweight workflows that make it easy for teams to contribute content without slowing them down.
Capture internal insights and customer moments, then translate them into sharp external narratives.
Train and develop leaders’ ability to produce content autonomously
Engage thoughtfully with legal, tech, and AI communities: respond, participate, and build relationships.
Monitor sentiment, conversations, and category narratives to inform positioning.
Identify opportunities to create content that rides real demand and real debate—without fluff.
Develop principles for reactive engagement across social media for both the Legora masterbrand and individual staff/C-Suite
Work closely with marketing team to ensure editorial/social strategy is integrated with the wider marketing effort (datacapture, insights, remarketing, etc)
Track performance with a metrics framework (growth, engagement, click-through, pipeline influence where measurable).
Run experiments with formats, hooks, posting times, and series — then double down on what works.
Maintain a content library and reuse system to compound output without sacrificing quality.
You understand the law, AI and business. You understand what our customers require - the questions that concern them, the issues occupying the sectors and how Legora can add value to existing conversations. You understand the difference between ‘content’ and ‘compelling editorial’. You can produce high-quality, interesting, relevant copy rapidly and to-deadline. You have experience helping others bring their ideas to life through top-class narrative development and storytelling. You’re obsessed with craft and distribution. You understand that great social content is truth + taste + repetition — and you know how to build systems that produce consistently high signal. You’re equal parts storyteller and operator: fast, structured, and relentlessly iterative.
You are:
A sharp writer with strong judgment and a distinct sense of voice.
Fluent in platform mechanics and what earns attention (without chasing trends blindly).
Comfortable working with technical and non-technical teams to extract the real story.
Comfortable drawing out narratives and insights from individuals and systems alike
Energised by fast feedback loops and shipping content continuously.
Most importantly:
You care about credibility. You want to build a brand people trust.
Excellent writing, editing, and narrative skills.
Fluent English communication skills.
Good understanding of current issues and concerns in and around AI, business and law
Experience building repeatable content systems (calendars, templates, pipelines, feedback loops). 4–6+ years experience in social media, digital journalism, brand editorial, or community roles in high-growth environments. Demonstrated ability to grow an audience with high-quality organic content. Analytical mindset: you measure, learn, and iterate quickly.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Some experience of a fast-growing startup environment
Social will be one of Legora’s highest-leverage growth channels. In a category full of noise, we win by being precise, useful, and unmistakably different. The content you create will shape how the market understands AI for legal work — and why Legora leads it.
If we succeed, it will be because we built a brand that compounds: a voice that’s trusted, a narrative that’s clear, and a social engine that turns product truth into category momentum.
